Connecting NYA’17

With the theme of ​National ​Youth Assembly​ 2017​ – ​Connecting the Dots, Volunteer for Bangladesh organized the project “Connecting NYA’17” among the 18 districts.

​Based on the quotes from Margaret Fuller “If you have knowledge, Let the others light their candles in it”, we wanted​ ​our Board Members to enlight our Committee members and District Volunteers​ through sharing ​their moments, learning and experiences of NYA’17. ​ Board Memnbers from different districts arranged the session according to their gained knowledge of NYA which were consisted of Leadership, SDGs, Social media, ICT and Youth’s role, Youth’s participation in Volunteering.

Their aim was to facilitate the members with new thoughts, ideas, community development and the need of youth in social development along with their upcoming project and events​ in respective districts​. They described the whole process of participating and involving in VBD as well as on National Youth Assembly’18​. Almost 300 volunteers were connected with the project all over the Bangladesh.​
