To inspire people around the community about Water, to spread awareness about water-related issues, to explain about the consequences of wasting water and importance of taking action to make a difference in the neighborhood area, VBD Jessore District took initiative to make awareness campaign regarding to save water.
The campaign was held in Jessore Collectorate school. The event was divided into three sessions.In the first session a presentation on Water Crisis and the necessity of saving water has been presented by Sabbir rahman,HRO,VBD Jessore District. In the next session, a quiz competition was arranged based on presentation.The student of class six participated in this sessions.
There was also a question-answer round,where students shared their views & opinions regarding water issues like sanitation,water pollution,water scarcity etc. Participants participated the competition spontaneously.The volunteers of VBD Jessore monitored and evaluated the competition session along with the teachers. At the end, there was a prize giving ceremony.The students who grabbed the first three positions being awarded.
All the credit goes to VBD Jessore for arranging an event focusing on a great social problem.
