To enhance the leadership capacity and project management skills of its committee members, Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD), Sunamganj District organized a comprehensive training session focused on effective leadership, event management, and project implementation. The session was conducted by 5 dedicated volunteers and directly benefited 30 committee members.
The training provided participants with a practical understanding of the complete project management cycle—from project design and planning to implementation, monitoring, documentation, and final reporting. Members were introduced to essential concepts of project development, resource management, and reporting practices to ensure the successful execution of community initiatives.
In addition, the session emphasized effective event management, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Through interactive discussions, group activities, and real-life examples, participants gained valuable insights into organizing events efficiently, coordinating volunteers, and overcoming operational challenges.
The training also encouraged committee members to develop innovative ideas, strengthen collaboration, and take greater ownership of community-based initiatives. By building their technical knowledge and leadership capabilities, the session aimed to prepare members to lead impactful projects that address local needs and create sustainable social change.
We sincerely thank all participants, facilitators, and volunteers whose active engagement and commitment contributed to the success of this training program.
