রাঙা হাতে ঈদ উৎসব – Spreading Eid Joy

Eid is a time of love, sharing, and celebration but for many children living in orphanages, this festive season can often feel incomplete. That’s why Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD) Sylhet District organizes its heartfelt signature event, ‘রাঙা হাতে ঈদ উৎসব’, at Chutomoni Nibash (Orphanage Home), to ensure every child feels seen, valued, and celebrated.

This beautiful initiative is rooted in the simple belief that every child deserves a joyful Eid, regardless of their background or circumstances.

What Makes This Event Special?

• Henna Art with Love: Volunteers adorn the little hands of children with beautiful henna designs, creating a vibrant symbol of festivity, culture, and care.

•Eid Meals Shared with Smiles: A delicious, festive meal is served to all the children shared at one table, with laughter and stories.

•Gifts & Goodies: New clothes, sweets, and small Eid gifts are distributed to make their day extra special.

•Fun, Games & Togetherness: With music, games, and interactive activities, the day is filled with joy, bonding, and unforgettable memories.

Why It Matters

‘রাঙা হাতে ঈদ উৎসব’ is more than an event it’s a reminder that celebration has no boundaries when it comes to kindness. It promotes empathy among youth volunteers and creates meaningful connections with children who may otherwise feel left behind during holidays.

Through this initiative, we aim to:

•Uplift spirits and restore a sense of belonging

•Break the cycle of social isolation

•Foster a culture of giving and compassion among youth
