Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD) Naogaon Sadar organized “Project Eco-Roots: Resilient Life on Land Initiative” to raise environmental awareness, promote sustainable living, and encourage young people to take an active role in protecting nature. The initiative brought together VBD volunteers and respected District Board Members with a shared focus on tree plantation, nature conservation, and the importance of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the activities, participants highlighted the need for greater environmental responsibility and sustainable practices at the community level.
The program also emphasized that protecting the environment is a collective responsibility. Participants were encouraged to take meaningful action in their everyday lives and contribute to building greener, healthier, and more resilient communities. The event concluded with a collective commitment to actively contribute to environmental protection and conservation. Through initiatives like Project Eco-Roots, VBD Naogaon Sadar continues to engage young people in creating positive environmental and social change.
