On 25 March 2026, VBD Tangail District organized a special event in observance of Independence and National Day 2026 at the Bangladesh Shishu Academy, Tangail District. The three-hour program provided children with an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of independence through creative and educational activities. The event featured competitions in recitation, essay writing, and drawing, allowing children to showcase their talents and express their thoughts and creativity in a lively and engaging environment.

The program began with participant registration, followed by guidance and supervision throughout the different competition segments to ensure fairness, discipline, and smooth participation. Volunteers supported event logistics, coordinated participants, and maintained an inclusive and organized atmosphere. Through active participation in the competitions, children were encouraged to develop their confidence, communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking, while also nurturing their interest in literature, culture, and the arts.

Aligned with the Quality Education Sustainable Development Goal, the initiative aimed to support children's personal and intellectual development through creative learning opportunities. The activities also helped foster a sense of patriotism, cultural appreciation, and social awareness among young participants. The event concluded with evaluation and recognition of participants, celebrating their efforts and encouraging them to continue exploring educational, cultural, and creative activities.
