Health Comes First

In today’s world, children are increasingly facing issues like poor hygiene, malnutrition, and a lack of basic health awareness. These challenges don't just affect their present—it holds them back from succeeding in education, future careers, and social life. Recognizing this, VBD Naogaon District organized an impactful event titled “Health Comes First” at Khalishakuri Government Primary School.

The event aimed to spread essential health awareness among young students. Following the guidelines of the World Health Organization, children were taught the proper handwashing technique through a fun and engaging demo. A writing competition titled “My Good Health” encouraged students to express their understanding of personal health. Winners received useful stationery gifts as rewards. Every participant was also gifted a chocolate, pen, surgical mask, and handwashing soap—a small but meaningful token of care.

“Health Comes First” wasn’t just an awareness campaign—it was a forward-thinking, compassionate initiative. By planting the seeds of hygiene and health consciousness at an early age, we aim to nurture a future generation that is healthy, aware, and humane.
