Driven by the spirit of volunteerism and a deep commitment to community welfare, Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD) – Shibganj Upazila unit, operating under VBD Chapainawabganj District, has always prioritized initiatives that create long-term impact. Our goal is simple but powerful: to uplift communities through education, empathy, and action. As part of that ongoing mission, we recently organized a special initiative focused on the spiritual and educational growth of our future generation the children.

On July 5, 2025, our dedicated VBD team visited a local mosque in Shibganj, where we distributed Ampara and Qaida to young, bright-eyed students engaged in Islamic education. These foundational books are essential tools in a child’s early religious learning, helping them develop a deeper connection with the Quran, improve their recitation, and understand the basics of their faith.
This small but impactful gesture aimed not only to provide educational resources, but to encourage the pursuit of knowledge, discipline, and spirituality from a young age. For many of these children, it was their first step towards understanding the deeper values of Islam compassion, kindness, and purpose.

What we witnessed that day went beyond books and donations. We saw genuine curiosity in young eyes, and pure, unfiltered joy in innocent smiles reminders of why we continue to serve. That moment of connection, of knowing we’ve lit a small spark in someone’s journey, is the heart of our work.
At VBD, we believe real change starts with empowering the next generation and every smile we inspire tells us we’re on the right path. Their happiness is not just our success; it’s our motivation to keep going, to keep giving, and to keep growing together.
