According to World Bank statistics, the annual fatality rate from road accidents is found to be 85.6 fatalities per 10,000 vehicles. Thus, the roads in Bangladesh have turned out to be fatal!

Reasons Behind Road Accidents:

To prevent road accidents at first, we need to understand the reasons behind road accidents. There are some common reasons:

Uneducated Drivers: Drivers some of the time got the hang of driving yet don’t instruct themselves about the driving guidelines. No security estimates taken by the drivers as far as the seat strap, Don’t stop the vehicle in the middle of the streets/expressways, and so forth.

Traffic rules: Disregarding traffic principles and signs, utilization of sign on turns, over speeding or attempt to surpass the speeding vehicle is additionally a central explanation behind mishaps on the street.

Distracted Driving: Diversions while driving is another reason for road mishap. Accepting telephone calls, messaging while at the same time driving, eating, loose concentration while seeing the side scenes are a portion of the diversions prompts accidents.

Drink and drive: Individuals, as a rule, do this particularly our youth generation. They feel cool about drinking and drive just to flaunt. It turns into the explanation behind a road accident.

Tips That Can Prevent Road Accidents:

  • Always Keep your eyes on the road during driving.
  • Never use your phone during crossing the road.
  • Never, ever drink before driving.
  • Try to avoid construction areas.
  • Do not rush and follow speed limits.
  • Follow the traffic rules of the road.
  • Ignore aggressiveness during driving.

Responsible people are trying to reduce road accidents by creating awareness among the general people. But the ratio of road accidents is increasing in an alarming way.
